Job Summary

As a Real-Time Simulation System Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for the planning, assembly, commissioning, and documentation of real-time simulators. Your daily work involves configuring and operating project-specific simulators and conducting factory tests for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). You will collaborate closely with test teams to develop documentation and new system designs, while also providing technical support during customer delivery and on-site commissioning. This role is highly dynamic, involving technical clarification with customers and supporting the proposal process. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in converter technology, high-voltage technology, or digital simulation.
  • Experience in control or automation technology, ideally within HVDC or FACTS environments.
  • Practical knowledge of real-time simulation tools and systems.
  • Experience in technical project handling and commissioning.
