Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated scientist passionate about Pharma and Life Science, focusing on complex Downstream Processing (DSP) work packages within process transfer and lifecycle projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, generating documentation required for regulatory submissions, and reporting findings to stakeholders and project teams. You will also be instrumental in developing concepts within Manufacturing Science Drug Substance, coordinating with international sites, and acting as a subject matter expert, making critical decisions and fostering collaboration. Furthermore, a key aspect of the role involves mentoring the lab team, developing their capabilities, and promoting an innovative team culture. This position requires a strong background in DSP from mammalian cells, process transfer, and excellent organizational skills, offering the chance to drive technological advancement in complex development projects.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Doctorate (PhD) in (Pharmaceutical) Biotechnology or Chemistry

Experience

  • Relevant industry experience (implied by qualifications)
  • Professional experience in Downstream Processing of mammalian cells
  • Experience in Scale-up/Scale-down methodologies
  • Good knowledge of Process Transfer
