Job Summary

NConsult GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, is seeking a reliable and motivated Linux Administrator to ensure the smooth, secure, and performant operation of their Linux systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous development of the Linux server landscape. Key daily tasks include ensuring IT security and system availability, analyzing and resolving complex Linux-specific IT disruptions, and optimizing/automating existing IT processes. You will also plan and implement IT projects within the Linux environment and thoroughly document IT architectures and processes. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or vocational training in IT, coupled with several years of Linux administration experience, especially with distributions like Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian. Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) is essential.
