Job Summary

This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of server infrastructure within a complex Enterprise IT environment, focusing heavily on contract and process management. Key responsibilities include supporting cross-departmental IT contract management for servers—from initial setup and monitoring utilization to initiating renewals and managing vendor relationships. The manager will coordinate, plan, and optimize IT processes related to the server lifecycle, manage the Server Process Management Tool (Serverworkflow), and act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding server procurement and services. The ideal candidate requires a degree or vocational training in IT, combined with practical experience in IT hardware management within an Enterprise architecture, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth IT operations and quality assurance.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field, or completed vocational training in the IT field with several years of relevant professional experience, or comparable long-term practical experience in the IT field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT hardware management (e.g., planning, procurement, and server provisioning)
  • Professional experience within an Enterprise architecture context
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector (if vocational training is held)
