Job Summary

The DRV Bund IT, the service provider for the German Pension Insurance, is seeking an Application Developer to join their team in Berlin. This role involves the realization and support of IT and specialized tasks within subsystem work, focusing on maintaining and developing JavaEE applications critical to managing insured accounts, calculating pensions, and providing rehabilitation services. Key responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and servicing JavaEE applications, developing and implementing quality assurance measures, and representing the subsystem in cross-departmental IT projects. The ideal candidate must possess a degree or vocational training in IT or equivalent experience, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience, particularly strong, current knowledge of JavaEE software development, and familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.
