Job Summary

This role involves independently advising the leadership of the Munster Medical Support Center and regional medical supply centers on all aspects of occupational safety. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with labor regulations and accident prevention protocols, organizing safety within operational sites, and leading mandatory safety committee meetings and site inspections. The specialist will also participate in inspections by public supervisory authorities and assist in creating risk assessments, workplace analyses, operating instructions, and explosion protection documents. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., automotive, industrial mechanics, electrical) and a Master Craftsman or State Certified Technician qualification. Crucially, the qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist is required, or the willingness to acquire it within two years. This is a full-time, permanent position, potentially leading to civil servant status, offering flexible working hours and competitive public sector compensation (up to pay grade E9a TVöD or A9m BBesG).

Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or State Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in) in relevant technical field (e.g., Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering).

Experience

  • Completed vocational training in Automotive Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Electrician, or comparable technical field
  • Completed advanced training as a Master Craftsman or State Certified Technician in Automotive Engineering, Metal Construction, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable field
  • Qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (required or must be acquired within two years)
