Job Summary
This role involves independently managing client projects focused on process-oriented energy consulting, crucial for companies aiming for sustainability and efficiency. The specialist will conduct comprehensive energy audits according to DIN EN 16247-1, and support the development and enhancement of Energy and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 50001, EMAS). Key responsibilities include creating decarbonization strategies, performing detailed energetic analyses of buildings and production processes, and identifying and evaluating energy efficiency measures. A core part of the job is assessing the economic viability of various energy systems (PV, CHP, heat pumps) and managing the application for public funding (BAFA, KfW). This position requires a strong technical background in engineering or energy technology, proven experience with energy audits and management systems, and the ability to present complex findings to clients and management, making it ideal for a proactive expert in sustainable energy solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed University Degree or Technician Qualification (e.g., Energy and Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Building Services Engineering)
Experience
- Experience with Energy Audits according to DIN EN 16247-1
- Professional knowledge in ISO 50001 or EMAS systems
- Professional experience in energy and environmental management and efficiency strategies
- Experience in evaluating savings potential and economic feasibility
