Job Summary

This role involves developing, documenting, and maintaining system architectures and specifications, primarily within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment using Enterprise Architect (SysML). The System Engineer will apply the V-Model XT for developing safety-critical systems, ideally within the defense sector, focusing on analyzing and evaluating requirements for completeness, consistency, and testability, as well as maintainability and availability goals (RAMT). Key responsibilities include creating interface and architecture models, structuring technical solutions to ensure ease of maintenance and high system availability, and collaborating closely with Safety, Qualification & Validation, and Quality teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., MIL-STD, STANAG, AQAP). The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least three years of experience as a System Engineer in safety-critical environments, along with expertise in MBSE tools and system architecture methodology.
