Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Process Engineer passionate about process design and plant optimization within the chemical or petrochemical sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the technical development of process design orders, spanning from conceptualization through Basic and Detail Engineering, and supporting procurement and commissioning. You will be responsible for creating process calculations, simulations (including energy and mass balances), and detailed technical documentation such as P&IDs and equipment data sheets. A key focus involves collaborating with construction and project management teams on plant layout and piping design, ensuring efficient and safe process solutions. Success in this role requires a degree in Process Engineering, multi-year experience in plant construction, and expertise in process simulations (e.g., Aspen Plus/HYSYS) and safety procedures like HAZOP.
