Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position involves spearheading the implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG) within the Digital Administration and IT Control Department of the City of Aachen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, coordination, and documentation of OZG initiatives, including IT project management and the development of online services using Formsolutions. Key responsibilities also include product and contract management for OZG services, monitoring IT market trends, and supporting e-Government initiatives. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage relationships with IT service providers and internal departments. Required Skills

Education

• Civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry-level for general administrative service, OR successful completion of Administrative Course II • Comparable university degree (e.g., Diploma in Financial Administration, Diploma in Judicial Administration, Bachelor's or Diploma in Administrative Management) • Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Administrative Sciences, Law (e.g., 1st or 1st and 2nd State Examination), Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable field • Alternatively, successful completion as an Administrative Assistant or Administrative Course I

Experience

  • Professional experience in concept development and coordination of IT projects
  • Professional experience in product and contract management
  • Professional experience in managing online services
  • Professional experience in IT steering support and e-Government
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant administrative field (if qualifying via specific vocational training)
