Job Summary

As an Occupational Disease Investigator, you will play a crucial role in preventing work-related illnesses by conducting on-site workplace assessments, including exposure determination and evaluation, when occupational disease suspicions arise. Your expert opinions on workplace conditions will be vital for various stakeholders, including case workers, medical experts, and employers. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, providing mutual support in investigation procedures. Utilizing your pedagogical skills, you will facilitate behavioral changes among insured individuals and those affected by illnesses, focusing on areas like noise, skin conditions, respiratory issues, and musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, you will contribute to information and training events and develop educational materials. This position offers an extensive 9-month internal training program with individual support, making it an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer or scientist to specialize in occupational health and safety.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, FH-Diplom) in Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Biology) or Process Engineering
