Job Summary

This role involves ensuring global chemical compliance for a leading specialty lubricant provider within the Freudenberg Group. The professional will be responsible for classifying and assessing products and raw materials according to hazardous substance and dangerous goods regulations. Key daily tasks include creating and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and operating instructions for the Klüber Group worldwide, and keeping compliance data current within the SAP-EHS system. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry or a related natural science field and possesses knowledge of international chemical legislation (e.g., REACH, CLP, UN-GHS). This position requires continuous monitoring and implementation of relevant chemical laws, process improvement through project work, and sharing expertise through internal training and workshops, contributing directly to global product safety standards.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Chemistry or another natural science discipline, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Chemical Compliance or similar fields
  • Familiarity with international chemical legislation (REACH / CLP / UN-GHS)
  • Knowledge of SAP-EHS (advantageous)
