Job Summary

This role involves taking overall responsibility and project leadership for municipal heat planning (KWP) in Bad Laasphe, ensuring compliance with the Heat Planning Act. Day-to-day tasks include managing external project partners, conducting data collection for KWP, and regularly reviewing and updating the municipal heat plan. A core part of the job is coordinating and implementing the KWP, especially feasibility studies for identified heating network areas, and organizing public participation processes, specialized events, and information campaigns. Furthermore, the manager will coordinate, implement, and monitor concepts and measures related to climate protection and climate change adaptation in collaboration with various departments and external partners. The ideal candidate holds a degree in fields like Energy/Environmental Engineering, Geography, or Urban Planning, possesses strong project management skills, and demonstrates excellent communication and moderation abilities for effective public and network engagement. Required Skills

Education
