Job Summary

This role involves serving as the Official Information Security Officer for a public authority, focusing on the operation and continuous development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on the BSI IT-Grundschutz standard. Day-to-day tasks include representing the authority in information security matters to external bodies and working groups, conducting security monitoring, performing audits, and providing conceptual and strategic guidance on security policy. The officer is also responsible for training and sensitizing staff, fulfilling extensive documentation and reporting duties, and providing advisory support to district administration members. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, and meets the specific civil service requirements for the higher administrative service, offering a stable, permanent position starting in January 2026.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field. For civil servants: Fulfillment of the legal career requirements for the first entry level of career group two (formerly higher service) of the general administrative service.

Experience
