Job Summary

This role involves managing complex railway infrastructure renewal projects in Southern Bavaria, focusing on signal, telecommunications, and electrical engineering systems, including the construction of electronic and digital interlockings, level crossings, and overhead lines. The Project Engineer acts as a key organizer and communicator, driving projects through all service phases (HOAI), coordinating planning across various technical trades, especially cable civil engineering interfaces, and ensuring timely procurement and contract awarding. Key responsibilities include rigorous schedule, cost, and risk management, obtaining necessary governmental and third-party permits, and preparing quality gates and stress tests. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, possesses initial project management experience, and demonstrates strong organizational talent, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to finding technical and commercial solutions.
