This role offers a unique entry point into infrastructure maintenance through a comprehensive, approximately 7-month qualification program to become a specialized Track Planner (Oberbau Fachplaner) for DB InfraGO AG. Successful candidates, ideally holding a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) degree in fields like road, traffic, civil, or rail engineering, will merge theoretical learning with practical, on-the-job experience across Germany. Post-qualification, the Track Planner will independently manage and execute technical and operational planning for track maintenance projects (rails, sleepers, ballast). Day-to-day tasks involve meticulously planning personnel, materials, machinery, safety services, and timelines, managing regulatory approvals, coordinating internal and external service providers, and handling invoice verification.
