Job Summary

This role is for an Experienced Data Engineer within the Digital Commerce division, focusing on creating the perfect digital shopping experience for BAUHAUS customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of data mappings, designing robust data flows, and developing, operating, and monitoring critical ETL processes in an agile environment. Key responsibilities include automating and accelerating data flows, advancing the data and analytics platforms, and enhancing the data warehouse architecture. You will also act as a mentor, coaching less experienced colleagues through code reviews. The position requires a strong background in data pipeline design, expertise in GCP data platforms (such as BigQuery and Pub/Sub), and proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java for high-throughput data processing.
