Job Summary

This critical engineering role focuses on the planning, expansion, renewal, and optimization of the Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) network infrastructure, primarily in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying potential measures to eliminate bottlenecks, implementing replacement concepts for operating resources, and developing detailed operational concepts for connecting new grid and customer systems. A significant part of the role involves performing complex network compatibility tests and technical calculations, such as short-circuit data, starting currents, network flicker, and voltage drops, to ensure grid stability and compliance with operator requirements. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, possess solid practical and theoretical knowledge of distribution networks, and be proficient in relevant electrical engineering standards.
