Job Summary
The Technical University of Dortmund is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Assistant to join the Faculty of Bio- and Chemical Engineering. This role involves the meticulous monitoring, operation, and maintenance of chemical analysis and material data measurement devices, including gas chromatography and viscometers. The successful candidate will independently prepare samples for various experiments, assist with general chemical tasks, and contribute to setting up a new laboratory. They will also be responsible for instructing scientific staff on equipment operation and assisting with laboratory practicals. Completed training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Assistant
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical-Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Assistant
- Several years of professional experience in chemical laboratory work
- Practical knowledge in analytics or process engineering systems and measuring apparatuses
- Initial experience with SAXS/SANS and Rheometry

- Fixed-term contract for 3 years. Full-time position, with part-time work possible. Located at Technical University of Dortmund.
