Job Summary

This role offers an exciting career in the future-proof energy sector, focusing on the planning, standardization, and technical approval of grid substations and low-voltage grid connections. The engineer will be responsible for developing planning and application principles for low-voltage grid connections and the construction of substations, ensuring compliance with technical execution variants and regulations. Key daily tasks include managing the approval and type testing of medium-voltage transformers (10 kV/0.4 kV) and UPS devices for substations, ensuring adherence to national standards and legal requirements. Furthermore, the role involves evaluating deviations from regulations, developing solutions for special technical construction measures, and supporting the approval of meter panel designs. The successful candidate will also contribute to the further development of remote control systems for substations, coordinate procedural definitions, and prepare technical specifications and tender documents for medium and low-voltage system construction. This position requires a degree in electrical engineering, strong technical curiosity, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of commitment and independent work ethic.
