Job Summary

This role involves operating and advancing the critical firewall and network infrastructure for a major energy provider in Hamburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of campus communication infrastructures, along with administering and designing network topologies. A key focus will be optimizing network automation, potentially utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Day-to-day tasks include providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support, leading infrastructure projects or sub-projects, and documenting systems while training IT colleagues. This position requires a strong MINT background (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent qualification, combined with deep expertise in firewalls and complex network/IT security operations.
