Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Technical Customer Contact / Pre-Sales Engineer to drive technological progress by connecting innovative solutions with clients, primarily in plant engineering. Day-to-day responsibilities include structured analysis of customer requirements via phone, email, and on-site visits, conducting initial technical evaluations considering structural conditions and normative specifications, and developing preliminary concepts and initial quantity structures for quotations. The engineer will coordinate closely with internal technical departments and external partners, ensuring solutions are assessed against relevant standards and guidelines. Key qualifications include a technical background (e.g., Electronics, Mechatronics Technician, or degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or Safety Technology), experience in fire protection systems, building services (TGA), or industrial automation, and knowledge of relevant industry standards (DIN 14675, VDE 0833, VdS).
