Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a pivotal role in transforming technological visions into reality within the fields of special machinery and plant engineering. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams, cable lists, and terminal plans, primarily using EPLAN P8. You will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning control cabinet and automation components while ensuring all designs comply with relevant electronic regulations and standards. This role requires close technical coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and customers. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or advanced training as a State-Certified Technician/Master Craftsperson in Electrical Engineering, or completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering with several years of experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design within the machinery or plant engineering sectors
  • Experience in the independent planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams
  • Proven proficiency in using EPLAN P8 or similar CAE systems for electrical engineering
  • Experience in technical coordination with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations for control cabinet construction
