Job Summary

This leadership role involves the technical and disciplinary management of the IT Systems and Security (S&S) department within a major trauma hospital context in Berlin. The Head of IT Systems and Security is responsible for ensuring the continuous operational readiness of complex IT infrastructure, including data centers and central services, while maximizing IT security and risk prevention. Day-to-day tasks include resource coordination, planning and implementing IT measures, and providing strategic support for the IT system portfolio's development. A critical component is managing financial aspects (SLA, pricing, lifecycle management), steering external service providers, and implementing ITIL processes. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in complex IT systems, IT security, and proven leadership skills to motivate and align teams toward strategic goals, ensuring the organization maintains a leading technological position in the German healthcare sector.
