Key responsibilities include conducting and interpreting measurements in the application lab or at customer sites (e.g., analyzing residual moisture, oil absorption, and thermal properties of polymers), documenting results, and assisting with measurement software. Furthermore, the role involves installing equipment, conducting comprehensive customer training and workshops, and actively contributing to the creation of training materials. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in materials science, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel for customer engagements and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Chemical Technical Assistant, Mechatronics Technician) or certified State-Certified Technician qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory setting
  • Theoretical and ideally practical knowledge in plastics processing and analysis
  • Knowledge in extrusion and thermal analysis
  • Experience in independent planning and execution of customer appointments and training sessions
