Job Summary

This role involves providing essential technical customer support for precision measuring instruments, focusing specifically on material characterization devices like extruders, systems, and laboratory equipment. The specialist will handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and on-site visits, assisting with operation, troubleshooting, and spare parts procurement. Key responsibilities include conducting and interpreting complex measurements (e.g., residual moisture, oil absorption, thermal properties of polymers) in the application lab and at customer sites, creating thorough documentation, and providing training. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or scientific background (e.g., CTA or Mechatronics Technician), strong physical-chemical fundamentals, and practical experience in plastics processing and analysis. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills in both German and English, mobility for customer appointments, and a structured, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
