Job Summary

This role involves designing, selecting components, and dimensioning complex embedded systems for an international technology group in Berlin. The R&D Hardware Developer will be responsible for creating standard and EMC-compliant schematics using CAD software, working closely with layout design, construction, and quality management teams. Day-to-day tasks include documentation of development processes, conducting and documenting commissioning, functional, integration, and EMC tests, and supporting the hardware type testing process until final approval. A key part of the role is collaborating closely with software development, supporting manufacturing introduction, and applying LEAN and PLM processes. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering, expert knowledge in circuit design using CAD tools (specifically Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition), extensive experience in EMC-compliant design, and strong communication skills in both German and English.
