Job Summary

This critical role involves the technical and disciplinary leadership of the SCADA team, ensuring the flawless execution of SCADA systems for international large-scale solar projects, from initial planning through commissioning. The Head of SCADA will be responsible for defining and verifying technical and commercial project requirements, coordinating external engineering service providers, and managing the planning of DCS/SCADA systems and automation/control technology. A key focus is gathering requirements for plant monitoring and control, managing IT/OT needs, and ensuring timely, successful commissioning. The ideal candidate must possess a technical degree (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) or relevant technical training, coupled with professional experience in electrical or information technology, and mandatory experience in SCADA/DCS planning, M&C technology, and team leadership. Strong communication skills in both German and English (C1 level) are essential, along with a willingness to travel (10%).
