Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks an IT Consultant to drive the development and implementation of critical Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions primarily focused on fuel stations and car wash systems within the GLOBUS Markthallen network. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and integrating emerging technologies in the fueling and washing sector, providing essential 3rd-level technical support and system maintenance across market halls, and continuously analyzing and optimizing productive POS systems. The role also involves crucial knowledge transfer, creating comprehensive training, and user documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a technical education or degree, foundational knowledge in electrical engineering, and ideally, experience within the fuel station or car wash environment. Familiarity with standard IT systems (Windows, networks, SAP) and an understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., TÜV, approval processes) are highly beneficial. This role requires strong communication skills and a willingness to travel within Germany, offering the chance to join a stable, family-owned retail leader.
