Job Summary

Join the State Building and Property Administration in Rostock to manage complex electrical engineering projects for federal construction initiatives. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities across all project phases, from initial planning and documentation preparation (HOAI phases 2-9) to site supervision and final billing. Key tasks include coordinating external engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with energy efficiency and cost-optimization goals, and providing expert technical advice. You will be responsible for planning and executing complex electrical systems, such as transformer stations, medium/low voltage systems, emergency power units, and safety lighting, alongside managing maintenance and modernization efforts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses strong IT skills, excellent German proficiency (C1/C2), and preferably has multi-year professional experience, though recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable relevant qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, processing, and implementing electrical systems and facilities (preferred)
  • Professional experience in project steering and coordination
  • Experience in leading and controlling external engineering consultants

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Driver's license (Class B) and driving experience; Willingness to undergo security screening (§ 3 BVerfSchG in connection with § 3 SÜG); Knowledge of relevant administrative regulations (LHO M-V, RLBau, RBBau, Procurement Manual) is preferred.
