Job Summary
The City of Schenefeld, a vibrant and future-oriented city in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region, is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician to strengthen its Planning, Construction, and Environment department. This role offers the opportunity to actively shape urban development projects focused on energy and climate protection goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning maintenance for roads and public spaces, overseeing the sanitation of storm and wastewater channels, proposing watercourse maintenance measures, issuing necessary permits (drainage/excavation), and managing construction budgets for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a State Certified Technician in Construction or Environmental Technology, or a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Infrastructure). Professional experience is desired, along with a commitment to independent and responsible work.
