Job Summary

The Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for the project-related management of teams executing complete environmental planning for complex, medium, and large-scale infrastructure projects within DB Engineering & Consulting. Key daily tasks include cost, schedule, and resource control, ensuring smooth project execution, and acting as the primary interface between project stakeholders. The role demands active risk management, including scenario development and implementing countermeasures to mitigate threats to project goals. Candidates must possess a degree in Environmental Planning, Landscape Planning, Geoecology, Geography, Biology, or a related natural science field. Alternatively, a technical or economic degree combined with relevant project management experience and a connection to environmental or infrastructure projects is acceptable. This position requires strong organizational skills, proactive stakeholder engagement, and a focus on delivering sustainable concepts that contribute to environmental protection and regional economic success.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Environmental Planning, Landscape Planning, Geoecology, Geography, Biology, or comparable natural science disciplines; OR a degree in an economic or technical field combined with relevant project management experience.

Experience

  • Experience in managing complex technical projects
