This Senior Project Engineer role involves managing the planning and realization of complex rail construction projects, specifically focusing on Rail Control and Safety Technology (LST) including Electronic Interlocking Systems (ESTW/DSTW) and the European Train Control System (ETCS). The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed according to contracts and quality standards, coordinating all technical support across planning, procurement, construction, and acceptance phases. Key responsibilities include steering the planning process by integrating partners and authorities for approvals, managing interfaces between executing trades, and preparing essential documentation such as specifications and tender documents. The role requires a background in electrical or civil engineering, extensive experience in project construction and commissioning (ideally LST), and strong knowledge of contract law (VOB, HOAI) to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant project delivery within the German rail infrastructure.
