Job Summary

This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and clean documentation of electricity and gas network expansion measures for a regional utility provider. As a GIS Specialist/Technical Drafter, you will be responsible for capturing and updating network data within the G/Technology – G/Net Geographic Information System (GIS) according to technical regulations. Key tasks include verifying the plausibility of survey documents, creating and updating inventory plans for supply areas, and generating detailed circuit diagrams for medium-voltage, low-voltage, and street lighting networks. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Geomatics, technical drafting, or a related field (e.g., Geoinformatics or Geography), coupled with robust IT skills, including experience with GIS systems and SAP-PM/EAM. Success in this position requires a quick comprehension, strong quality assurance focus, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders like municipalities and construction firms.
