Job Summary

This role involves working as an Applications Engineer focused on Systems Engineering for a leading provider of high-precision drive systems used across aerospace, industry, robotics, and medical fields. The core responsibility is collaborating closely with customers, sales, and product development teams to define and implement system solutions that meet complex client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical consulting to national and international colleagues and customers during system commissioning, often on-site, and supporting the sales team in positioning system solutions to win new business. The position also requires designing and conducting technical training sessions for sales staff and customers, and representing the company at trade fairs for direct customer engagement. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering, possesses multi-year professional experience in electric drive technology, and is proficient in industrial communication systems like CANopen, EtherCAT, and PROFINET. Strong communication skills in both German and English are essential, along with a willingness to travel within Europe (approx. 15%).
