Job Summary

This critical role involves driving the strategic asset management of power grids within the energy supply sector in Offenbach (near Frankfurt). The Asset Manager will be responsible for developing strategic network concepts, defining target networks, and advancing distribution networks in alignment with the energy transition, Smart Grids, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing complex network analyses and calculations, evaluating operational data, and developing comprehensive investment, renewal, and maintenance strategies aimed at optimizing network value. A key financial responsibility is managing budget planning and controlling funds for investments and maintenance across electricity, gas, and district heating networks. The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, preferably in Electrical/Energy Technology, and brings professional experience in asset management for a network operator. Proficiency in network calculation software (e.g., DIgSILENT Power Factory) and experience leading projects are essential. The position offers a permanent contract, flexible working hours, and hybrid work options.
