Job Summary

This critical staff function seeks an experienced Information Security Management System (ISMS) Officer to manage and enhance the security framework for a major utility company operating critical infrastructure near Frankfurt. Reporting directly to the executive management and the CIO organization, you will be responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of the ISMS, ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory mandates such as the IT Security Act, KritisV, and NIS2. Day-to-day duties include conducting comprehensive risk analyses, overseeing incident and emergency management processes, and coordinating the implementation of IT security measures. A key focus is guaranteeing legally required certifications and providing evidence to supervisory authorities (BNetzA, BSI), particularly through regular audits based on DIN EN 27001. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical and conceptual skills, initiative, and the ability to confidently represent the company in internal and external security committees.
