Job Summary

This role involves independently planning, leading, and documenting projects focused on developing new IT services and optimizing existing IT infrastructure within the city of Ludwigshafen's highly available data center network. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preliminary studies, performing IST analyses, creating concepts, executing comprehensive cost-benefit and profitability analyses, and planning project budgets. The manager is also responsible for developing technical specifications and evaluating vendor bids, while continuously analyzing and optimizing IT processes. Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Business Informatics, coupled with several years of IT project management experience. Success in this position requires comprehensive technical knowledge of server and network infrastructures, IT security, firewalls, and database management systems.
