Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous functionality and integrity of critical highway infrastructure by focusing on electrical and communication technology (EKT) systems within tunnels and telematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing inspections, condition assessments, and documentation of EKT facilities. Key tasks include developing and updating maintenance and preservation concepts, preparing tender documents, and managing the execution of maintenance and preservation measures. This position requires a background in electrical engineering or related fields, strong command of ICT, and the willingness to travel locally and occasionally work nights or weekends to support the essential function of Germany's mobile infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences Degree (Dipl.-Ing. FH) or Bachelor's degree in Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Information Technology, or a closely related field

Experience

  • Professional experience in organizing and executing inspections of electrical and communication technology systems
  • Professional experience in developing and updating maintenance and preservation concepts
  • Multi-year professional experience in the specified field of duties is advantageous
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract law (GWB, VgV, UVgO, VOB, HOAI, etc.) is desirable
