Job Summary

This role involves working as a Specialist Engineer in Smart Meter Gateway Administration (GWA), driving the digitalization of distribution grids and the energy transition. The successful candidate will join the Metering business unit, focusing on expanding metering processes and IT systems to support Smart Grids and intelligent metering systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts, defining new processes, formulating IT requirements, and collaborating closely with software manufacturers to ensure implementation. The role requires creating technical concepts for new IT systems and devices to ensure mass suitability and operational transfer, along with planning and coordinating their introduction. Furthermore, the specialist will support complex operational issues and implement continuous process optimizations. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with professional experience, ideally in the energy sector, and expertise in IT projects and process management.
