Job Summary

This role involves supporting a leading IT service provider in Berlin as an IT Support Specialist within a long-term infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of IT end devices, including issuing, retrieval, testing, and repairing laptops, monitors, phones, and peripherals. Day-to-day tasks include providing hands-on, on-site support, setting up and cabling equipment at workstations, and handling 1st-Level Support via ticket systems and a telephone hotline for both hardware and software issues. A key part of the job involves meticulous IT documentation, including registering and inventorying Configuration Items in the CMDB, and supporting users through activities like Windows 11 migration and creating user-friendly instructions for the Knowledge Base. This position requires strong technical knowledge of Windows environments, excellent communication skills in German, and a structured, service-oriented approach.

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent

Experience

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) OR equivalent professional experience in IT Support
  • Professional experience with IT ticketing systems (Nice to have)
  • Professional experience with CMDBs (Nice to have)
