Job Summary

This senior management role involves taking full technical and economic accountability for the gas and water supply infrastructure within the EWR Netz GmbH subsidiary in Alzey. The Head of Pipeline Networks will report directly to the Technical Management and lead a team of approximately 40 employees. Day-to-day activities include strategic organizational development, process efficiency assurance, and comprehensive oversight of planning, construction, and safe operation of both gas (including corrosion protection) and water networks (including treatment plants and reservoirs). A core future focus involves driving the energy transition, specifically implementing municipal heating plans and integrating new energy sources like hydrogen and district heating systems. Candidates must possess an engineering degree, multi-year leadership experience, and profound knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (DVGW, AGFW).
