Job Summary
As the Head of Power Grid Planning at EWR Netz GmbH in Worms, you will lead the strategic and operational management of electrical execution planning. You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of a team of approximately 10 employees, ensuring the safe, economical, and future-oriented development of power grids and systems. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing grid expansion projects from 110-kV to low-voltage levels, managing material planning and budgeting, and steering construction service providers. You will also drive the implementation of digital tools like GIS and SAP to optimize planning processes. This role is highly attractive for its focus on the energy transition (Energiewende) and offers significant autonomy. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Engineering or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Multiple years of leadership experience in a professional environment
- Extensive professional experience in the planning, construction, or operation of energy grids and systems
- Project experience specifically related to the implementation of energy transition (Energiewende) initiatives
- Experience in managing external construction and assembly service providers
