Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role in Görlitz involves driving key digitalization and administrative modernization initiatives within the municipal government. The successful candidate will focus heavily on Process Management, including the analysis, modeling, documentation, and implementation of business processes, defining core processes, and developing target concepts for optimization. A major component of the job is Project Management, where you will help develop and implement central digitalization projects (e.g., OZG, eGovG compliance), lead sub-projects, conduct staff training, and manage the transition to live operations. You will also provide organizational and technical advice to specialist departments regarding cross-administrative digitalization issues and ensure organizational compliance with data protection laws in central IT systems. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of relevant laws, and proven experience in process and project management, offering a responsible and varied career path within the public sector.
Required Skills
Education
Suitable university of applied sciences (Fachhochschul) or Bachelor's degree (e.g., in non-technical administrative services or economics), or a completed qualification as a Municipal Economist, Administrative Specialist, or Administrative Business Economist (VWA). Additional training as a REFA Organizer is desirable.
