Job Summary

This role involves working as a Web Developer within the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU), focusing specifically on the 'Environmental and Climate Pact Bavaria' online platform. The core responsibilities include the evaluation, conception, and replacement of an outdated Content Management System (CMS) with a future-proof solution, followed by the migration of content into the web team's standard technology stack. A significant part of the job involves the new development of key online tools, such as the 'Climate-Conscious Company Service Center' and the 'Water Efficiency Tool.' The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Web Development or a related IT field, coupled with professional experience in web development, conception of large online offerings, and strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2027, offering flexible working hours and the possibility of up to 50% remote work after an initial training period.
