Job Summary
This role involves ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards while executing and documenting microbiological monitoring within the Quality Control department. Key responsibilities include performing GMP-compliant sampling for environmental monitoring and employee qualification, planning laboratory workflows independently, and handling the creation and processing of deviation and Out-of-Specification (OOS) reports. The specialist will also track and analyze external test results, maintain laboratory equipment, and contribute to the development and validation of new microbiological methods according to international guidelines. This is a permanent position within a modern laboratory setting in a dynamic, growing pharmaceutical company, requiring strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and fluency in German to handle documentation effectively.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Environmental Protection Laboratory Assistant, Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or Medical-Technical Assistant (MTA), or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in microbiological quality control (Pharma or Food industry) is advantageous
- Experience handling microbiological techniques, culture media, sterile techniques, and laboratory equipment
- Sound knowledge of Quality Management principles (GMP experience advantageous)

- Must possess perfect color vision and a good sense of smell.
