Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project management for municipal civil engineering measures, focusing on maintenance, renovation, and new construction projects within the community of Ratekau. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of deep and road construction initiatives, excluding pipeline construction. Key responsibilities include planning, implementation, and financial settlement of projects, as well as coordinating and supervising external freelancers involved in larger construction efforts. A core function is executing procurement procedures strictly following legal regulations (VOB, UVgO, HOAI). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering (Deep and Road Construction) or equivalent technical qualifications, possesses relevant IT skills (MS Office), and has at least basic proficiency in German (B1 level).
