Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and execute municipal infrastructure projects within the attractive community of Ratekau, situated between the Baltic Sea resorts and the city of Lübeck. The core responsibilities involve the end-to-end management of civil engineering measures, including planning, implementation, maintenance, renovation, and new construction of roads and public infrastructure (excluding pipeline work). A key component of the job is coordinating external freelance service providers for major projects and strictly executing procurement procedures according to German standards (VOB, UVgO, HOAI). Candidates must hold a degree in Civil or Road Construction Engineering (Bachelor, Master, or equivalent) or a qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman with relevant experience. Essential requirements include proficiency in MS Office, a Class B driving license, and German language skills at level B1 or higher. While multi-year professional experience in HOAI phases 1-8 is desirable, it is not mandatory.
