Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Simulation Engineer to join a global Digital Engineering consulting firm, focusing specifically on the aviation sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the development and validation of detailed simulation models covering critical areas such as manufacturing flows, material handling, robotics, and complex assembly processes. A core function is the analysis of existing production systems to proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential risks, culminating in actionable optimization recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including production engineers and IT specialists, to ensure successful implementation of simulation solutions. Key qualifications include a completed Master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) and several years of professional experience in industrial simulation, ideally within the aerospace or a comparable high-tech industry. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective stakeholder communication.
