Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Electrical Engineer specializing in industrial plant construction, based in Oberhausen. The primary responsibilities involve ensuring the technical availability and operational excellence of industrial facilities. Day-to-day tasks include providing comprehensive technical support for industrial plants, evaluating project proposals for feasibility, and coordinating area-specific projects aimed at plant development and optimization. A critical component of the role involves performing essential maintenance and repair work on systems and equipment, as well as conducting detailed analyses of technically induced plant downtimes. The engineer is expected to develop effective solution concepts to secure long-term technical availability. Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, coupled with relevant professional experience, ideally within an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of relevant technical standards (e.g., DIN, VDE) and fluency in both German and English are mandatory.
